Its cute little Red XIII cub and his dad, Seto!! (the valiant warrior of cosmo canyon!! :D )
and hes NOT dead. Or asleep. Hes playing w/ his son.

I'm sure you would blink if a dog/lion had his paw near your eye. :D

I decided to make Seto alive and draw him how I imagined him by rewinding time.
done in Photoshop 7
took many hours.

OMG! I fricken love Red, hes my favorite character in the game, and Seto!!! ahhh this is so amazing!!!! You did such an amazing job, the background the colors the anatomy, its flawless!!! This so gets a favorite :heart: You did a fricken awsome job.

I do have one question though- I have only played the game once and didn't catch this little thing. Is Red's tail on fire because that is the way his species is? Because I thought it was because that was the experiment's outcome.

actually thats a good question...not sure, I just finished playing it for the first time :) so you're probably right..hehe

It's a very stange thing actually... In the game, after the staff roll, you see Red with his two kids and there it looks like the tip of their tails are on fire. Though in the remade clip at the beginning of FFVII: Advent Children the tip of tails are not on fire... And since the AC one is newer I guess that's what you should go after.
And I don't think Hojo got the time to experiment very much on him... he was just supposed to mate with Aerith. (eww, Hojo is sick)
So perhaps the tailtip fire comes with age... And don't ask me how the last survivor of a species has kids after 200 years...

Sorry for sneaking in between like this... =P
